ICT Estimator Dublin Location: Ballycoolin Business Park, Dublin Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical / ICT / Construction Employment Type: Permanent Salary: €70,000 €80,000 Right to Work: Ireland work rights required Visa Sponsorship: Not available About the Role We are recruiting an experienced ICT Estimator to join a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major Data Centre, Mission Critical and Advanced Technology projects. The successful candidate will join an established estimating team and be responsible for producing competitive tenders and detailed cost estimates for pre-design and Design & Build projects. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced ICT or electrical professional looking to progress their career within a major international contractor, with full training and development available. Key Responsibilities Produce competitive tenders and detailed cost estimates. Prepare estimates for pre-design and Design & Build projects. Complete detailed take-offs from tender drawings. Analyse labour requirements and labour rates. Review specialist subcontractor quotations. Ensure subcontractor quotations comply with project specifications. Compare and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing. Attend pre-tender and post-tender interviews. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers. Work closely with Project Managers and site teams. Review drawings, specifications and scope of works. Support cost and valuation reconciliations. Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation. Requirements Previous experience in estimating, electrical, ICT or construction. Strong understanding of construction estimating principles. Experience with take-offs and tender drawings. Understanding of methods of measurement. Understanding of cost and valuation reconciliations. Experience reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Good computer skills and experience with estimating software. Ideal Background Experienced ICT / Electrical Tradesperson looking to move into estimating Full training and support will be provided to develop your estimating and commercial skills
