ICS Domain Manager (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £63,900+ depending of skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and deliver multiple complex development programmes, managing a diverse portfolio of suppliers both within the UK and internationally. This role involves regular travel to supplier sites and business locations as required
• Be Responsible for integration activities across the programme portfolio, supporting new business opportunities, acting as a key interface with internal stakeholders, and leading the supply chain response to future growth
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for assigned suppliers, ensuring the successful delivery of agreed business objectives and long term performance targets
• Ensure supplier contracts demonstrate ample commercial rigour, minimise organisational risk, promote innovation, and include clear improvement and performance measures Champion the standardisation and application of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) best practice
• Lead strategic relationships with key suppliers, including negotiation of contracts in line with spend management objectives Drive supply chain rationalisation and provide solutions to support SANKE programme teams, including escalation and resolution of supply constraints

Your skills and experiences:

• Excellent decision making skills and ability to translate strategy into action creating winning solutions and output for the business
• Collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders creating excellent relationships and driving supply chain excellence
• Ability to manage strategic supplier partnerships throughout all stages of the supply chain lifecycle
• CIPS/MCIPS (or equivalent) qualification or working towards
• Considerable experience with international partners would be beneficial
• Global supply chain experience working with international suppliers/partners
