IBOR Test Automation Engineer/SDET

We are looking for an experienced IBOR Test Automation Engineer/SDET to join a major investment technology programme.

This role requires a strong combination of IBOR and investment operations knowledge alongside hands on expertise in test automation, data validation and reconciliation testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of investment book of record processes across positions, transactions, valuations, reconciliations and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive testing across IBOR platforms and investment operations workflows

• Test positions, transactions, valuations, reconciliations and performance reporting

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites

• Perform API, integration, data and end to end testing across investment systems

• Validate complex investment data using SQL, including reconciliation between upstream and downstream systems

• Test trade life cycle processes across multiple asset classes

• Identify, investigate and manage defects through to resolution

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, operations teams and other stakeholders throughout the delivery life cycle

• Support SIT, UAT and end to end testing

• Contribute to test strategy, test planning and continuous improvement of automation coverage

Experience Required

• Strong IBOR testing experience, covering positions, transactions, valuations, reconciliations and performance reporting

• Deep understanding of investment operations and the trade life cycle across multiple asset classes

• Proven SDET/Test Automation experience

• Strong experience with automation technologies such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress

• Experience with API testing and automated regression testing

• Strong SQL skills with experience in data validation and reconciliation testing

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

• Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT and end to end testing

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
