Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable IBM Integration Designer (IID) Developer with a strong background in IBM BPM/BAW to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying process-centric and integration-centric solutions using IBM IID and BPM tools.
This is a key technical leadership role that demands in-depth expertise, problem-solving skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using IBM Integration Designer (IID) and IBM BPM/BAW
- Implement and optimize Business Process Definitions (BPDs), Human Services, Coaches, and Decision Services
- Develop and manage integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, IBM MQ, JDBC, and system adapters
- Lead the implementation of Advanced Integration Services, Human Tasks, and Business Rules
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, product owners, BAs, QA, and DevOps teams
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure performance tuning
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership and guidance
- Support issue resolution across Dev/Test/Prod environments
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Integration Designer (IID)
- Strong working knowledge of IBM BPM/BAW including BPDs, Coaches, Human Services, and Decision Services
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Process Server and Application Server
- Deep understanding of SOA and EAI architectures and service-driven design
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, XPath, and SQL
- Experience with SOAP/REST services, IBM MQ, and integration adapters
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, UrbanCode, Maven)
- Agile/Scrum project experience with full participation in sprint workflows
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with IBM Information Server and Incident Management Tools
- Exposure to BPM Automation strategies and tools
Work Model:
- Hybrid setup: 3 days per week onsite at the Rijswijk office
