Job Description
An independent Lloyd's Broker is recruiting for an IBA & Compliance Manager.
Due to recent and anticipated growth, a new hands-on role has been created to assist, oversee, and develop the Compliance, IBA Cash, and Broking Income reporting functions.
Key duties will include:
- Review, understand, and assist with current IBA processes.
- Undertake gap analysis, implement remedies, and de-risk the function from over-reliance on key personnel.
- Develop broking income reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes to enhance outputs.
- Lead projects to interrogate the IBA system's SQL database and build reporting capabilities to meet emerging needs.
- Manage, oversee, and develop client and underwriter TOBA and KYC processes.
- Ensure the UK branch's compliance with laws and regulations.
- Obtain overseas broking licence registrations (new and renewals).
- Undertake ad-hoc compliance tasks as required.
Applicants must have experience working for an insurance broker in the areas described above, be proactive and hands-on with process review and development, have experience in data project management, and be comfortable managing staff.
