IAM Engineer | PingFederate & Java

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid - on-site Mondays & Thursdays)

We are looking for an IAM Engineer to strengthen the Identity Federation team. This team enables secure and seamless access to applications and services for all users internal and external, national and international - anytime, anywhere, and on any device. The team is a key enabler for digital identity strategy, ensuring modern, scalable authentication and single sign-on capabilities across both on-premises and cloud platforms.

As an IAM Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery and maintenance of identity federation solutions using PingFederate and PingAccess. You will play a vital role in securing customer and employee access journeys, including AAB-ID, OTP, QR login, and IVR-based authentication, all integrated via PingFederate. You'll work closely with architects and stakeholders to design and develop secure identity infrastructure.

About the role

As an IAM Engineer you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade identity federation solutions that support user access strategy. You ensure that authentication methods are integrated securely and efficiently into the infrastructure. You will:

• Design and build authentication flows and custom adapters using PingFederate, PingAccess, and Java
  
• Implement secure, scalable identity solutions using OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect across cloud and on-premises environments
  
• Collaborate with architects and security teams to integrate new authentication methods and support SSO across platforms

Who are you?

• Proven experience developing solutions with PingFederate and PingAccess
  
• Strong Java development background, including custom plugin/adapter development
  
• Deep understanding of IAM principles, identity life cycle, and security architecture
  
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, and SSO integration
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex environments
  
• Ability to lead or take ownership of technical implementation tracks
  
• Pré: experience with Groovy Scripting
  
• Strong communicator and collaborator
