Position Summary:

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency across our site. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help ensure hygiene processes are completed to established standards, contribute to food safety and compliance requirements, and support a safe working environment for colleagues, visitors, and customers.

What You'll Do:
  • Carry out hygiene processes and cleaning schedules in line with company standards, food safety requirements, and compliance procedures.
  • Help maintain a safe working environment for colleagues, visitors, and customers at all times.
  • Complete hygiene records, schedules, and associated documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Support site standards relating to AIB, DQMP, workplace organisation, and pest control programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support operational goals and daily activities.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including material handling equipment, ride-on scrubber machines, and access platforms where trained and authorised.
  • Provide support and operational cover within the wider Reverse Logistics function when required.

Who You Are:
  • You take pride in producing high-quality work and have strong attention to detail.
  • You can work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
  • You have good organisational skills and can manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • You are committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
  • You have strong communication skills, including written and spoken English, along with a good standard of numeracy.
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment is beneficial, and experience within hygiene, FMCG, multi-temperature, or physically active environments would be advantageous.
