Overview

We are seeking a proactive and physically fit individual to join our Belfast depot in a hybrid role that combines Class 2 HGV driving with warehouse operations. This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth dispatch, receipt, and delivery of construction equipment for hire and sales, maintaining high standards of stock control, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to deliver construction equipment across Ireland.
• Load and off-load vehicles manually and using a forklift.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.

Warehouse Operations

• Dispatch and receive goods, checking quantities, quality, and condition.
• Identify damages or unsafe equipment and report promptly.
• Clean and maintain products to ensure they are hire-ready.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and assist in maintaining sufficient stock levels.
• Keep warehouse and yard areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.

General Duties

• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and procedures.
• Support colleagues and contribute to meeting business objectives as required.

Requirements

Essential:

• Clean Class 2 HGV licence.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy manual work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Forklift licence.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Previous experience in a warehouse role
• Previous experience in a driving role.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
