Job Description
HVAC Project Manager - Mechanical & Electrical

Location: St Helens

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HVAC Project Manager within our Mechanical & Electrical team. Candidates should have 8+ years' experience in HVAC project management, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 6024 (Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing)

  • NVQ Level 3 (Heating & Ventilation)

  • F-Gas and Gas Safe (beneficial)

  • CITB SMSTS

  • Project Manager Skill Card

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and motivate a team of engineers to deliver HVAC projects on time and within budget

  • Undertake site surveys, prepare quotes, and deliver projects from survey to handover

  • Plan labour, manage sub-contractors, and oversee HSE compliance, risk assessments, and method statements

  • Monitor project costs, quality, and timelines in liaison with Quantity Surveyors

  • Maintain H&S documentation, project folders, and team competence

  • Assist with small project designs and client specifications

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational and leadership ability

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail

  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project programs

  • Experience managing budgets, labour, plant, and vehicle costs
