Humanities Teacher - Tier 4 CAMHS Eating Disorder Service

We are seeking a thoughtful and adaptable Humanities Teacher to join a highly specialist provision within a Tier 4 CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. This is a non-mainstream setting where education is fully integrated into students' clinical care and recovery.
The RoleYou will deliver engaging, personalised Humanities teaching (e.g. History, Geography, PSHE) to young people with complex mental health needs, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Many students have experienced disrupted education, so your focus will be on rebuilding confidence, re engaging curiosity, and supporting meaningful academic progress in a therapeutic context.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver flexible, differentiated Humanities lessons
- Re engage students with learning and foster curiosity about the world
- Work collaboratively with a multi disciplinary team to align education with recovery
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of abilities and emotional needs
- Monitor progress and celebrate all forms of achievement
- Qualified teacher with experience in Humanities subjects
- Understanding of SEND and/or mental health needs
- Calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
- Committed to inclusive, student centred practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
