Job Overview

Lantern of Knowledge Secondary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Humanities education across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History & Geography lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies
  • Support students' academic growth alongside their moral and spiritual development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental planning and meetings
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in History & Geography
  • Teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to the values of the school and the Trust
