Interim HR Business Partner (Strategic & International Role) Amsterdam Hybrid June -December 2025
About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Business Partner - Advisory Support to join an established global organization. In this role, you'll work closely with senior HR leaders to support the successful delivery of core people processes and employee lifecycle activities across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support across assigned functions or locations, working closely with Senior HRBPs and People Managers.
- Advise on core HR matters including absence, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and talent development.
- Support key people initiatives such as engagement programs, calibration, succession planning, and internal mobility.
- Act as second-line support for HR queries not resolved by shared services, investigating legacy issues or policy gaps when needed.
- Deliver consistent execution of people processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles) in partnership with HRBPs.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR data reporting using Workday, People Dashboards, and related tools.
- Contribute to the review and implementation of HR policies and operational frameworks within your business area.
- Provide holiday or absence coverage for HRBPs to maintain continuity and stakeholder support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an HR advisory, HR generalist, or HRBP support role, ideally within a matrixed or global organization.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, and HR operational excellence.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, and comfort working with data and reports.
MUST HAVES:
- 5-7 years of HR Business Partner experience in a strategic role within an international/global company (prefer commercial teams/organizations)
- Dutch Labor law experience is absolutely necessary.
- Proven success operating in a complex, matrixed, and global business environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, European labor laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
