Overview

The Human Resource Administrator will provide comprehensive human resource support with varying responsibilities for the busy HR Department. The role includes day to day administrative service, recruitment, and assisting with the strategic development of the service to meet changing organisational needs. Good organisational skills and flexibility are required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Recruitment - responsible for advertising vacant positions, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and venues, requesting references, and drawing up contracts of employment.
  • Updating job descriptions in consultation with departmental managers.
  • Maintaining staff personnel records, ensuring staff are registered with NMBI, CORU, PSI, and IMC.
  • Maintaining accurate absenteeism records and reports.
  • Coordinating with payroll regarding new employees and updates on employee payments.
  • Inputting personnel details into the TMS system.
  • Ensuring compliance reporting and HR system updates.
  • Keeping employee records/files, both manual and electronic, current and complete.
  • Issuing statements of employment, references, and responding to ad hoc staff queries.
  • Ensuring probation, work permits, and annual reviews are complete and up to date in HR systems.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times.
  • Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the nature of the post.
  • Promoting the professional image of the Clinic.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or currently studying towards this qualification.
  • Experience working in a busy environment.
  • Previous hospital experience is desirable.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines using initiative.
