Job Description
Overview

Join our team at Terex Omagh as an HR Advisor. You will play a pivotal role in supporting managers in day-to-day operational HR matters and partnering with stakeholders to drive the people agenda to achieve business results.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide business partnering support and ensure the effective delivery of end-to-end HR processes.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors and team members.
  • Support line managers to set goals, assess capability, and drive calibration across the performance management cycle.
  • Develop robust relationships with key stakeholders across the operation to promote collaboration on people-related initiatives.
  • Manage the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Support team member engagement, retention and culture initiatives, including health and wellbeing promotion.
  • On-board, conduct HR orientation and probation reviews for new team members in allocated client groups.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, applying them consistently and updating where necessary.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and embed HR practices that add value.
  • Proactively manage absence (short-term and long-term) and refer to occupational health when required.
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance issues professionally.
  • Support payroll administration for weekly paid team members.
  • Plan, organise and deliver training and development for team members at all levels.
Qualifications
  • HR-related degree advantageous.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or relevant professional qualification.
Experience & Skills
  • Ability to work as part of a flexible HR team, prioritise workload and complete tasks on time.
  • Track record as a true HR Business Partner providing operational HR support.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment balancing operational demands with projects.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation; experience applying it in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify and drive improvements to HR processes and employee experience.
  • Understanding or experience applying AI tools to support HR practices is advantageous.
