HR Team Leader

The Opportunity:

Are you a seasoned HR professional, experienced in a full 360 role, with a strong knowledge of employment legislation and a desire to manage a small team? This could be the perfect role for you! The Job Role:
  1. In this hands-on, full 360 HR role, you will oversee the workload of 2 HR Advisors, reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager. You will manage workflow, serve as the main contact for advice to senior managers, and be responsible for HR compliance and audits.
  2. You will deputise for the Senior HR Manager and guide the HR team on employment law and legislative updates.
  3. Drive corporate HR initiatives and change projects, working with a wide variety of managers throughout the business.
  4. Support disciplinary hearings, grievances, occupational health, and long-term sickness cases.
  5. Produce HR metrics and conduct daily HR team meetings to report back to the Senior HR Manager.
Requirements:
  1. CIPD Level 3 minimum, combined with approximately 15 years of experience in a busy HR role.
  2. Passionate about HR, your career, and supporting others in a busy HR environment.
  3. Ability to provide leadership and guidance, confidently sharing your extensive experience and knowledge of HR policy, procedures, and legislation.
  4. Ideally, experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or unionised environment with a diverse workforce.
Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Note: This role is on-site in Exeter and is not hybrid.
