Job Description

HR Team Lead

Location: Exeter Permanent Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.

What you'll be doing:

  • Guidance and direction on ER cases ensuring a consistent, proactive service
  • Acting as a trusted partner to managers, supporting with ER, people management, workforce planning, payroll and HR best practice
  • Coaching leaders to build capability and confidence across the business
  • Supporting HR projects and driving improvements in processes, systems, and engagement
  • Playing a key role in fostering a positive, performance-driven culture

What we're looking for:

  • Strong generalist HR background, ideally in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Proven leadership skills - you'll know how to coach, develop and bring the best out of managers
  • Confident in employment law, employee relations, and day-to-day operational HR
  • A pragmatic, solution-focused approach with the ability to influence at all levels
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred
