As an HR Specialist , you'll be the go-to person for our Amsterdam-based employees, providing expert HR support and cultivating a thriving workplace. You'll also ensure the office runs smoothly, creating an efficient and positive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Champion: Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, guiding them through HR processes with clarity and empathy.
- Culture Builder: Partner with our Employee Experience Manager to drive employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Manager Advisor: Empower managers with HR best practices and guidance to support their teams.
- Onboarding Excellence: Create seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared.
- HR Project Contributor: Participate in HR initiatives and projects, including policy updates and compliance reporting.
- Local Compliance Expert: Provide expert advice on Dutch labor laws and regulations, ensuring we operate within legal frameworks.
- Employee Relations Advocate: Assist in resolving employee issues fairly and effectively.
- Office Operations Manager: Oversee day-to-day office operations, maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Requirements:
- MUST: 2-3 years of HR generalist/specialist experience.
- MUST: In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor laws and regulations.
- MUST: Ability to work 2-3 days per week in our Amsterdam office.
- MUST: Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
