DescriptionHave you previously worked in a busy People team? Have you used project management methodologies to support and deliver on a range of exciting people related projects? We're recruiting for a HR Project Delivery Officer to be responsible for developing project and activity plans and supporting their delivery.
You'll contribute to the delivery of projects by undertaking research around activity topics, the creation of communications plans, stakeholder engagement plans and organising relevant meetings for colleagues across the department.
What does this role do?As HR Project Delivery Officer you'll:
- be responsible for project scoping, planning and delivery that supports the Workforce Planning department
- plan and draft communications for colleagues or the intranet, ensuring these are appropriate for a range of audiences
- research topics such as early careers progression, apprenticeships and specific elements of the people value proposition, producing briefings and reports for colleagues
- identify areas where process or practice could be improved and make recommendations for change
- support on large scale recruitment activities, under the guidance of the Resourcing Manager
- participate in cross team task forces, supporting the implementation of Disability Confident, the development of candidate packs and onboarding
- be responsible for the maintenance of resources such as the Dogs Trust grading framework and job evaluation database
- participate in job evaluation and record outcomes to ensure salary information is up to date
- support with drafting job descriptions for new roles
- undertake salary research
The successful candidate will have a brilliant understanding of project management methodologies, and of using them to plan and manage project activities within an HR department.
You'll be really well organised, used to managing your own time, and will be able to deliver to tight deadlines. You'll have excellent written communication skills and will be able to present data, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, as well as having experience of researching topics and creating reports that answer briefs from management teams.
What does this team do?The People directorate is a large team of passionate people experts, covering HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, Learning and Organisation Development, Volunteering, and Workforce Planning. This role sits within the Workforce Planning team alongside Resourcing, Reward, Organisation Design, International Business Partnering, and People Change Management, who ensure Dogs Trust have the right people in the right place with the right skills to achieve our ambitious organisation strategy.
