Our client is widely recognised as a specialist market leader in their Food Production sector. As a mid-tier, progressive and ambitious company, they have carved out a successful niche as a supplier of choice. Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR & Compliance Officer to play a key role in the current and future growth and success of the business.
KEY DUTIES SUMMARY
- Sponsorship & Immigration - Management of sponsorship visit and Government SMS system
- Compliance of seasonal workers - such as payroll information to the relevant agency and reporting
- Right to work checks
- Contracts of employment
- Audits - Ethical - working with technical and HSE on data reporting etc
- General audits - working with compliance during suppliers' audits on HR related requirements
- Agency audits - both completing them for the agency and conducting them on our behalf
- Working time regulations compliance - working with relevant managers to ensure compliance
- HR Data reporting - data analytics - reporting on employee turnover/absence etc
- Equality Commission reporting
- HR Policies & Procedures - Employee handbook and legislation updates
- General HR duties
- Any other HR duties as and when required
THE PERSON
- Educated to degree level or equivalent Ideally CIPD Qualified although not essential
- A minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Someone who strives for excellence in everything they do

SALARY
An attractive salary based on experience within the range of £35k - £40k will be on offer to the successful candidate. The base salary is negotiable and will depend on experience and what the person can bring to the role.
