Job Description

Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our SSE Dublin office.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join SSE Energy Customer Solutions, supporting SSE Airtricity - one of Ireland's leading energy suppliers with a workforce of around 700 people. Working closely with the senior leadership teams in the Customer directorate, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering people strategies that support growth, transformation and a strong culture, helping the business continue to evolve in a changing energy landscape.

You will
  • Lead the execution of in-year and longer-term people plans, in partnership with corporate HR partners including Learning & Talent, Recruitment and Reward.
  • Be responsible for leading Organisation Design and Strategic Workforce Planning activities with your clients to ensure that we are optimising performance.
  • Lead Talent and Succession planning activities within your Directorates ensuring robust talent pipelines in place for all critical and leadership roles.
  • Provide business leaders with guidance, support, and advice on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including resourcing, reward, engagement, organisational design, change management, and learning and development.
  • Partner with senior leadership teams to create the conditions for business to deliver their best performance and build a culture, focusing on inclusion and collaboration.
You have
  • Commercial focus with substantial HR generalist experience, and the ability to adopt a creative and proactive approach to problem solving with enthusiasm and resilience to drive and embed change.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement long-term plans, linked to business performance goals.
  • Ability to make sound judgment-based decisions, underpinned by strong ethical standards as well as work independently to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • A structured and organised approach, with the capability to work swiftly to meet key deliverables while supporting and influencing multiple stakeholders.
