HR Manager

HR Manager - North Bristol

Permanent | Full-time | 4 days per week on-site | SME | Broad Generalist Role

We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join a successful and growing North Bristol-based business of around 50 employees. This is a stand-alone role with real variety and autonomy, supporting a close-knit leadership team and workforce across all aspects of HR.

You'll be responsible for the full employee life cycle - from recruitment, onboarding, and performance management through to employee relations, development, and engagement. The role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on while also shaping and improving people processes as the business continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Lead on employee relations, policies, and compliance.
• Oversee performance management and learning initiatives.
• Drive engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support payroll and benefits administration in conjunction with Finance.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organisational development.

About You:

• Experienced HR generalist, ideally with a background in retail, manufacturing, or B2B environments.
• Confident operating autonomously in a stand-alone role.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Pragmatic, approachable, and commercially minded.
• CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
