Job Description
HR Generalist - Mayo 
The HR Generalist will be the primary point of contact of the employees and manage day-to-day HR operations. You'll be responsible for the consistent application of our policies, processes, and guidelines across the business and work closely with employees from all departments. This role supports the HR Manager in implementing HR initiatives and strategies that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities Employee Relations and Case Management- Provide support and guidance to management with HR queries and employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance and probationary management
- Independently manage employee relations cases around absenteeism, lateness and verbal level from intake through resolution, including conducting workplace investigations, documenting findings, and recommending corrective action; escalate complex or high-risk cases to the HR Manager.
- Provide guidance to leaders and employees on conduct, performance, and disciplinary matters; recommend and facilitate disciplinary actions, up to and including termination, in consultation with the HR Manager and department leadership; and ensure consistent, legally compliant application of policy.
- Serve as an escalation point for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policy interpretation, procedures, and employment questions.
- Provide administrative support in HR processes, including note taking at investigations or formal meetings.
- Support in the review and processing bi-weekly payroll.
- Notify HR Operations of any remuneration changes in the HRIS or any other relevant systems.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, death in service and pension for all employees across EMEA.
- Manage company cars across EMEA.
- Manage EMEA payroll associated with for both direct employees and employees of record (EOR) through Deel.
- Coordinate and support with New Starter process including preparation of contracts of employment, new starter packs, and assisting with initial induction and orientation.
- Manage all probation timelines, ensuring reviews are scheduled and completed on time.
- Manage all contractual changes, including promotions, probations new roles and payroll updates, drafting all changes and communicating them to employees.
- Manage and track onboarding and offboarding workflows and systems.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews.
- Assist with GDPR activities, including policies and training, and ensure HR data is managed within the requirements of the HR Department.
- Support HR Manager with organisation of Occupational health assessments.
- Maintain confidential HR data, employee files, and documentation in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Developing and updating HR policies and procedures as necessary
- Provide day-to-day tactical HR support across HR operations and initiatives.
- Support the HR function with resolving any queries in the HR inbox which have escalated and are escalated to the HR Manager in a timely fashion if necessary.
- Provide metrics for turnover and headcount.
- Provide support to HR Manager with weekly reporting for operations and monthly reports Contribute to the development of HR projects, initiatives and process improvement.
- BSc in Human Resources or a relevant discipline
- 3-5 years' experience within a HR support role, ideally within a similar fast paced manufacturing environment
- A thorough knowledge of Employment Law, practices and their application, with a proven track record in dealing with employee relations issues
- Strong team player with the ability to engage and influence
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong IT proficiency and administrative skills
