Job Description

Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Burton on Trent
Salary: £32-£36k (doe)

This is a permanent role!

We are currently working with our long standing, Burton on Trent based client, on the permanent recruitment of a HR Generalist to join their expanding team!

Reporting into the Head of HR, your job duties would include:

HR Operations & Administration
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration
  • Maintain HR system and ensure data accuracy
  • Support payroll coordination
  • Maintain employee records
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Support recruitment prcesses
  • Prepare contracts and offer documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding of new hires
Employee Relations Support
  • Act as first point of contact for HR queries
  • Support handling of day to day employee relations
What experience you will need
  • Previous experience in an HR Admin / HR Assistant role
  • Good understanding of UK HR processes and employment basics
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and data
  • Proactive, responsive, and service-oriented mindset
Education & Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential) OR equivalent relevant experience in an HR administrative / HR support role
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) would be an advantage
