What You Can Expect :We are recruiting for a HR GeneralistTo provide comprehensive HR support across all UK business units and entities supported by the Shared Service Centre. The role is responsible for coordinating and executing HR activities as directed by the HR Business Partner, contributing to the effective delivery of the People function.A key focus of the role includes supporting employee engagement initiatives, maintaining and optimising HR systems, and contributing to a wide range of HR projects and strategic initiatives.The position requires the ability to take full ownership of assigned tasks, as well as collaborate with colleagues to co-deliver key activities. You Bring:To support the HR Business Partner as requested on a wide range of people-related topics, support may be required (but not limited to);Employee engagement initiativesHR system development and implementation projectsHR focus area support and projectsTalent and succession planning related activity and projectsManagement development and support projectsEmployee benefit related projectsData collation, reporting and analysisEmployee communication related activitiesDemonstrating flexibility and agility to respond to the varied nature of the role and changing business needs.To assist in the administration and development of various systems and HRIS systemsTo oversee and support the business with its employee survey and feedback, administering the system and preparing and presenting resultsTo support the management team in their employee engagement initiativesTo oversee and execute the Company long service awardsTo develop and deliver the Company quarterly newsletterTo co-ordinate and execute Company awards schemesTo support with the administration and co-ordination of company benefitsTo support with the administration and co-ordination of company fleetAny other tasks deemed commensurate with supporting the HR team to assist in adding value to the business units it supportsAd hoc support on employee relations related activitySupport in relation to the management of the Shared Service inboxKey Competencies & SkillsMust be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracyMust demonstrate excellent written and verbal communicationMust be competent with excel and have strong data analytical skillsMust be proactive and innovative in approach, with an ability to work independentlyMust be able to analyse and appropriately present dataMust be able to work with agility and flexibility in line with changing prioritiesExperience & Qualifications5+ years working in a HR generalist roleExperience working in the Logistics space would be advantageousMust be able to demonstrate ability to work both part of a team and autonomouslyExperience of working in a wide ranging role - with the ability to multi taskExperience of working with HRIS Systems is desirableMust hold experience of working with excelMust hold good customer service and interpersonal skillsWithin Rhenus, our journey of growth connects with yours.We stand as one global team.
