How You'll Make an ImpactAs an HR Generalist, you will provide end to end HR support for the Hazelwood site and wider UK population, working closely with site leaders, managers and HR Partners. Working within the regional HR operating model, you will coordinate with Regional Leveraged Services and the Regional Talent team to deliver consistent employee experience, ensure policies and processes' compliance, and maintain accurate people data and reporting. The role includes core employee lifecycle activities (onboarding through exit), day to day advisory support, coordination of employee relations activity, and continuous improvement of local HR processes.
In this role, you will:- Deliver end to end HR support for the Hazelwood site and wider UK team.
- Collaborate with managers and HR Partners to provide a consistent employee experience.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, from onboarding through exit.
- Advise on HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Support employee and labour relations, investigations, and union negotiations.
- Manage gender pay gap reporting and develop action plans.
- Coordinate Early Careers programmes (apprenticeships, placements, work experience).
- Manage immigration compliance and provide guidance on visa related queries.
- Analyze Occupational Health data, maintain external portal access, and collaborate with HSE.
- Act as Data Controller, ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate employee records.
- Provide audit support and deploy regular HR reports and analytics.
- Lead or participate in HR transformation projects and process improvements.
- Contribute to wider HR and business projects for Lubrizol UK/Europe/Global.
- Some travel may be involved within UK.
- CIPD qualified (or working towards), and/or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of generalist HR experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes.
- Proven ability to partner with HR teams, COEs, and stakeholders for consistent delivery.
- Customer focused with a strong service mindset.
- Strong organization, time management, and digital capability (Microsoft 365, HR systems).
- Experience with HR transformation projects and HR project management.
