Job Description
Overview 
Children North East is seeking an accomplished HR Director to join the Senior Leadership Team. This critical role reports directly to the CEO and leads the development and execution of the people strategy to support the charity's strategic plan.
Responsibilities- Develop and embed a people strategy across the charity
- Lead HR functions with a strategic mindset and strong leadership
- Support key decisions aligned with the charity's strategic plan
- Ensure planning and organisational execution to achieve strategic aims in a timely manner
- Proven HR leadership experience at leadership level
- Deep understanding of HR functions
- Strategic mindset, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills
Closing Date: Friday 12th September 2025 at 12 noon.
Salary: £53,615 to £59,829 pro-rated for 22.5 hours flexible over 3 days.
Location: This post is based at Children North East, 89 Denhill Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 6QE.
Contract Type: A normal working week is 22.5 hours flexible over 3 days. This role is permanent.
