Job Description

We're working with a fast growing travel tech business based in Croydon who are looking to hire a part time HR Business Partner. Recently acquired by a global software group, they still operate independently day to day, with full freedom to shape their culture, people experience and ways of working. It's a collaborative, ambitious team that's modernising its HR, embracing AI and driving a high performance, values led culture.

About The Role:

As HR Business Partner you'll be the heartbeat of people operations. You'll partner closely with the CEO, lead meaningful culture and performance projects, and shape how the business grows. While the parent company provides central HR support for some fundamentals, this role is all about ownership, influence and impact, the perfect opportunity for someone who loves autonomy and wants to make their mark.

Responsibilities
  • Own all in house HR activity and be the trusted partner to the CEO and managers.
  • Keep HR policies, processes and systems (HiBob) running smoothly and compliantly.
  • Lead people projects including values rollout, behaviour frameworks and performance culture.
  • Guide managers through ER, performance and day to day people conversations.
  • Drive engagement, run surveys and turn insights into action.
  • Manage recruitment for most roles and partner with group TA on senior hires.
  • Shape onboarding, development and high performance processes.
  • Bring new ideas - especially around AI and modern HR tools.
About You

We're looking for a confident, proactive candidate who really thrives when working autonomously. You'll know how to influence senior leaders, challenge constructively and stay calm in real time conversations. You bring energy, judgement and a solutions focused approach and you enjoy shaping culture, not just maintaining it.

Requirements
  • Experience as an HRBP or standalone HR lead.
  • Solid generalist skills across ER, recruitment, performance and compliance.
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge.
  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders, including pushing back when needed.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and people judgement.
  • Experience with HiBob or similar HRIS
  • Background in tech or software would be desirable.
  • Interest in AI and innovative people tools.
Benefits Include (but are not limited to):
  • Flexible working & part time hours
  • Private medical after probation
  • 25-27 days holiday (pro rata)
  • On site gym & fitness classes
  • Perkbox & EAP
