Senior People Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced Senior People Business Partner to work closely with senior business leaders, shaping and delivering people strategies that drive business performance, colleague engagement and organisational effectiveness.
This is a high-profile, strategic role where you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping to identify people priorities, challenge existing thinking and translate business objectives into practical people solutions.

The Role

As a Senior People Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and develop aligned people strategies.
  • Provide strategic advice and challenge, helping leaders navigate complex organisational and people matters.
  • Translate enterprise-wide HR frameworks into practical, business-specific plans and outcomes.
  • Use people data and insight to support workforce planning, talent management and organisational design.
  • Identify emerging people risks and proactively develop solutions.
  • Challenge Legacy thinking and help leaders reframe problems into opportunities.
  • Support complex and sensitive people matters, ensuring appropriate governance and consistency.
  • Work collaboratively with People Advisory, Centres of Expertise, People Operations and Change teams to deliver joined-up solutions.
  • Influence people strategy and its execution across multiple geographies.
  • Champion inclusion and help create an environment where colleagues can perform at their best.

About You

We are looking for an established HR professional who is comfortable operating at senior leadership level within a complex organisation.
You will ideally bring:

  • Extensive experience in senior-level HR Business Partnering.
  • A proven track record of influencing and advising executive and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting significant business or organisational transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, organisational design and workforce planning.
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic, commercially focused delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
  • Confidence challenging senior stakeholders and influencing across different leadership styles.
  • High levels of resilience and adaptability, with the ability to operate effectively through ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed or global organisation would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
