With 208 stores nationwide, 6 central warehouses and 12 delivery centres, we sell 14,000 mattresses, bases and headboards every week. We re looking for a new People Business Partner to join our People Team on a 12-month FTC.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support as a change agent and a strategic partner to the Retail Operations team. You should be confident and comfortable working at an operational level to deliver the people plan. You must be people focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and experience nurturing a collaborative relationship with the operations team will be key to your success.

Responsibilities
  • Business partner the Head of Retail and Divisional Managers to support operational excellence.
  • Partner with business leaders and execute long and short-term people strategies that directly support and enable business objectives and the delivery of the wider business strategy.
  • Create an inclusive work environment in line with our culture.
  • Champion the ED&I agenda across your business area.
  • Provide coaching to the operations team for initiatives and plans related to succession planning, career path development and performance management.
  • Be a champion for organisational change and manage change initiatives with minimal operational risk to the business.
  • Provide coaching guidance and support to management across a range of ER issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business.
  • Coach, upskill and guide managers to deal with their own people issues.
  • Drive employee engagement on site, identifying specific site issues and developing creative solutions.
  • Analyse people data to identify trends that can drive a positive organisational culture.
