Job Description
Our client is a dynamic, people-centred organisation operating in a fast-paced sector. They are growing their HR function and are seeking a capable HR Assistant to provide day-to-day HR operational support. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, develop practical HR skills and contribute directly to employee experience and HR initiatives that matter. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Deliver accurate HR administration including onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of employee records
- Process HR paperwork: contracts, changes to employment, right-to-work checks and personnel files
- Support payroll and benefits administration by preparing documentation and liaising with payroll/benefits providers
- Maintain the HR information system (HRIS) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
- Assist with recruitment tasks: job adverts, interview scheduling, candidate communications and pre-employment checks
- Prepare routine reports and metrics to help monitor absence, turnover and other people-data
- Respond to general HR enquiries from staff in a professional and timely manner
- Support HR projects and compliance activities as required
