Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting a diverse and fast-paced workforce where every day brings something different.

Description
Employee Relations
- Provide clear, professional advice to managers on a wide range of ER issues, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
- Manage complex ER cases and escalate to the HR Business Partner when needed.
- Respond promptly to employee and manager queries.
- Support the review and update of HR policies.
- Maintain effective relationships with Trade Union representatives.
- Proactively manage absence cases, ensuring welfare meetings and trend analysis.
- Promote health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Prepare occupational health referrals.
- Carry out Drugs & Alcohol testing after training, including out-of-hours on-call duties.
- Support performance reviews, learning initiatives and employee engagement activity.
- Work cross-functionally to strengthen communication and engagement.
- Partner with Finance and Payroll on pay matters (e.g., sick pay, family leave).
- Support the annual pay review.
- Promote and help improve employee benefits.
- Draft, update and implement HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
- Support policy rollouts and provide guidance on interpretation.
- Assist with HR data, reporting, and analysis.
- Support statutory reporting, including gender pay gap and ONS submissions.
- Maintain accurate HR system data.
Profile
- Experienced HR professional with strong employee relations knowledge,
- Excellent communication skills, and the confidence to advise and influence at all levels.
- You will be highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Previous HR advisory experience is essential.
- Strong ER and employment law knowledge and experience.
- Experience of working within an aviation / logistics / manufacturing or similar operational environment experience (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent note / minute taking ability, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to advise various stakeholders, using sound judgement and mitigating risks
