HR Advisor

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000

Job Overview
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent practical HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting managers with employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites when required.
Job Requirements
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, contractual changes and leavers.
  • Support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
  • Produce HR reports and analyse data relating to absence, turnover and employee engagement.
  • Assist with recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, screening applicants and coordinating interviews.
  • Support HR projects and employee engagement initiatives across the business.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Deliver a high standard of HR administration and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Work closely with the wider HR and Learning & Development teams to support training initiatives.
