We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team. The main purpose of this role is to provide a client focused, comprehensive and professional people service to colleagues and managers by maintaining and developing processes, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and legal requirements.
This is a site based generalist HR role with lots of exposure and opportunity to explore multiple areas of HR.
Key Responsibilities- Provide practical advice and direction for line managers so that they implement people practices in compliance with CPC Group policy and statutory employment legislation as well as providing a positive, consistent employment experience
- Provide an advisory service to colleagues ensuring they are fully aware of their contractual terms and conditions and CPC's Group policies
- Promote colleague engagement and positive mind set agenda
- Advise and provide support to managers to ensure the correct procedures are followed when carrying out grievance / disciplinary / performance improvement investigations, hearings and attendance management
- Act on relevant HR KPI information in a timely manner itemising trends and generating it in a format that is readily available for managers to review e.g. sickness absence data
- Administer and maintain accurate information within the HR system
- Support the delivery of people plans and HR KPI targets
- Part CIPD qualified or working towards HR qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working within a fast paced manufacturing business
- Working knowledge of computer systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR systems
- Experience working within a generalist Human Resources function
- Working knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Salary up to £36,000
