We have a great opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team in the Manchester office.
This is an opportunity to support the HR Business Partner group and deliver a high quality HR service to internal client groups and support the overall HR service line.
As HR Advisor, you will need to possess very good interpersonal skills, show strong resilience, and have the ability to follow robust processes and procedures. You will be a confident multi tasker, with good communication and relationship building skills, who is able to prioritise and time manage a busy workload.
You will pride yourself on delivering a strong and high quality HR service with genuine empathy. We are looking for a HR Advisor who is comfortable dealing with a wide range of ER activity, confident, willing to multitask and undertake duties outside of the normal job description and are happy to be in an office environment delivering on our People & Culture tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Managing key employee lifecycle activities, including parental leave (maternity, paternity, and shared parental), flexible working requests, medical and reasonable adjustments, junior promotion processes, and exit interviews.
- Assisting HR Business Partners with transactional HR matters, including employee relations processes and performance improvement processes (PIPs).
- Assisting in investigating and resolving employee grievances and conflicts.
- Contributing to generalist HR projects, with a focus on employee engagement initiatives and retention analysis.
- Offering general guidance on HR policies and best practices.
We're looking for an HR Advisor to manage key employee lifecycle activities, including parental leave, flexible working requests, and promotions. Ideal candidates will have previous HR advisory experience, strong employee relations expertise, and a keen interest in employment law. CIPD level 5 is essential. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage high workloads, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement. This role may involve occasional travel to other offices to support the HR Business Partner group.
