This role is varied and interesting, with no two days ever the same. You will be responsible for delivering a consistent HR service that provides a positive experience for our colleagues and managers. By partnering with the business, you will understand their needs, specifically focusing on tier 2 front line support and advice, employee relations, performance management, and absence issues. Additionally, you will help managers build their HR knowledge and assist the wider HR team in sharing their expertise to upskill colleagues.Tier 2 support involves responding to complex enquiries, liaising with appropriate centres of excellence, working with business partnering teams to support HR projects, and ensuring payroll actions are completed accurately and on time. Using your experience, you will continuously look for opportunities to improve HR processes and the support we provide to the business, while identifying opportunities for personal development and supporting the development of the team as a whole.The role further extends to providing cyclical and ad-hoc reports, preparing HR-related letters and documents, being an escalation point for all pre-employment checks to liaise with line managers and CRBPs for swift resolution, guiding managers in the use of Workday, administering benefit schemes including the company car scheme, reporting MI data, and advising people leaders on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, absences, and other people-related issues.Join our team and contribute to a dynamic and supportive HR environment.# The skills you will have when you apply: Experience using Workday and dealing with queries via a ticket system. Demonstrable experience of HR - managing and advising on employee relations matters is required. General HR knowledge, employment law and best practice.
