HR Administrator

Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,000

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator to support the delivery of a professional and comprehensive HR service across a large, multi-site workforce. This is a varied role offering exposure to the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers with HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, absence management, and HR best practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and guidance to management teams on HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employment contracts and right-to-work checks are completed in line with company procedures.
  • Deliver accurate and efficient HR administration across multiple business units.
  • Support managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Manage and monitor long-term absence cases.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, capability issues, flexible working requests, attendance management, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Genuine interest in Human Resources with the ability to work across a broad range of HR activities.
  • Previous experience handling employee relations matters and supporting managers with complex HR issues.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to provide practical HR advice.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Third-level qualification, preferably in Human Resources or Business.

Additional Information

  • Office-based role, Monday to Friday.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • Occasional travel to sites throughout Northern Ireland may be required.
