Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our clients busy and dynamic HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in HR administration who is looking to build a long-term career in a professional and supportive environment.

This role would suit someone who has prior experience in sectors such as education, legal, or professional services, and who enjoys working collaboratively while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and leaver processes
  • Maintain and update HR systems, records, and employee files in line with GDPR and internal policies
  • Assist with absence management, performance reviews, training records, and HR reporting
  • Support internal communications and coordination of staff wellbeing and engagement initiatives
  • Liaise with payroll, benefits providers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth HR operations
  • Assist with policy updates, compliance requirements, and best practice HR processes
  • Support the HR team in conducting and documenting employee relations investigations, including note-taking and scheduling meetings
  • Undertake a variety of ad hoc administrative tasks to support the wider HR function and organisation as needed

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR administration or HR support role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable working with HR systems
  • Experience in education, legal, or professional services sectors
  • CIPD Level 3 or higher (or currently working towards it)
