About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support the delivery of high-profile housing regeneration schemes. Working with contractors, consultants and development partners, you will play a key role in an ambitious Housing Regeneration and Delivery programme focused on delivering well-designed, affordable homes and creating sustainable places that benefit local communities.
Reporting to a Development Manager, you will manage complex regeneration and housing delivery projects from inception through to completion. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, provide value for money and achieve positive social outcomes.
Key Accountabilities- Lead and deliver housing regeneration and development projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, value for money and timely delivery
- Manage the procurement of consultants, contractors and development partners, and oversee their performance
- Steer projects through design development, planning, statutory approvals and construction phases
- Lead stakeholder engagement and consultation with residents, community groups and key partners
- Support commercial negotiations, funding bids and financial appraisals for regeneration projects
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including property, legal, finance and procurement
- Support and deputise for the Development Manager as required.
- Proven experience in housing delivery, regeneration, development or property-related projects
- Strong understanding of the housing development lifecycle, including planning, procurement and construction
- Experience managing consultants and working with development and construction partners
- Demonstrable ability to engage stakeholders and local communities effectively
- Experience of negotiation, influencing and presenting clear recommendations to senior audiences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
