Home, a place where you belong

This is a great opportunity to join our team. You'll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll help them manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long term accommodation.

What you'll do
  • Engage and involve customers in their tenancies, ensuring their properties are homes they can be proud of.
  • Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring claims are received on their rent account.
  • Turn around vacant properties to support new customers and maintain maximum occupancy.
  • Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities to ensure compliance.
  • Manage administrative tasks including updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works.
  • Manage your own diary and coordinate turn over of properties.
  • Work primarily from our service in Egremont, with occasional cover at other sites.
You have
  • Background in property management or a related area, with experience of compliance and health and safety checks (not a deal breaker).
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Ability to work independently and positively influence people from all backgrounds.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and with external partners.
  • Passion for property; relish ensuring properties are the best they can be for customers.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 09 15 (flexible for the right candidate).
  • Ability to manage your own diary and use technology for support plans, benefit claims, and tenancy sign ups.
  • Vehicle insured for business use (mileage will be paid). Will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (cost covered).
What's in it for you?
  • 34 days leave, pro rated (including bank holidays and a "me day").
  • Paid time off for volunteering.
  • Matching pension contributions (up to 7%, with life assurance of 3x Basic Salary).
  • Health Cash Plan saving up to £1,140 per year (covers dental, optical, and therapies).
  • Career path with development and an excellent training package.
  • Other benefits and rewards, including supermarket discounts and travel expenses.
