Housing Management & Property Litigation Solicitor / FCILEx / Barrister 5+ PQE Birmingham
BCL Legal is working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Housing Management & Property Litigation Solicitor, FCILEx or Barrister with 5+ years' PQE to join its expanding Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading practice advising registered providers, local authorities and private landlords on a broad range of housing management and property litigation matters.
The Role:- Manage your own caseload of housing management and property litigation matters.
- Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, including possession proceedings, injunctions, housing disrepair claims and policy advice.
- Support partners on larger, more complex litigation matters.
- Work directly with clients, managing relationships, expectations and deadlines.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients.
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within a busy and growing specialist team.
- Qualified Solicitor, FCILEx or Barrister with 5+ years' PQE.
- Strong experience in housing management and property litigation.
- CILEx candidates must hold Civil Litigation Practice Rights.
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Experience supervising junior team members.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
