Job Description - Housing Concierge (26836)

Earn £13.45 per hour or £26,300 per annum, permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) in Huddersfield, Kirklees Homeless Service. We can't offer a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

What you'll do

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors, and communal areas
• Greet customers and visitors, pick up repairs or cleaning requests
• Act as the first line of support for customers when the wider team or their own support network is not available
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly, and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti social behaviour

You have

• Calm under pressure with great communication skills
• Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
• Good judgement and clear communication
• Ability to recognise when things are about to go wrong and confidence to intervene in a sensitive way
• Working rota: 2 week pattern (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed nights; Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu nights 8:30 pm 7:15 am)
• Although working nights, you will attend regular daytime training and team meetings
• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records, and communicate with colleagues
