We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team at Aviemore Resort - one of Scotland's premier hospitality destinations located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Job Summary
As Housekeeping Supervisor , you will play a key role in the smooth daily operation of the housekeeping department across our extensive resort facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing room attendants and cleaning staff, managing schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities meet our exacting cleanliness and presentation standards.

Resort Facilities Include:
4 hotels with varied accommodation offerings
2 large-scale event and function spaces (weddings, banquets, conferences)
4 restaurants, 4 distinct bars, and a modern coffee house
18 wooden cabin lodges
Conference & Exhibition Centre
Leisure Arena with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym
Multi-floor soft play area, outdoor playground, and 3D cinema
Spey Valley Shopping Center
Spey Valley Championship golf course
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Assign and monitor tasks for housekeeping staff to ensure timely and high-quality service.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams to address room status, special requests, and repairs.
Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to ensure consistent service standards and professional growth.
Manage linen, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping stock levels efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards in all housekeeping practices.
Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management for housekeeping staff.
Maintain housekeeping logs, inspection records, and incident reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel, resort, or large hospitality operation.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of cleanliness and hygiene best practices.
Effective leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
Ability to manage workloads under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays as needed.
Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling, and infection control procedures is advantageous.
