You will lead your housekeeping team to make sure we provide clean and fresh rooms to all our guests. You'll be able to do this by being fanatical about delivering high standards when cleaning, providing spotless rooms and public areas. You'll be working alongside your team, helping to make beds and clean bathrooms where necessary, reporting any damage whilst keeping yourself, the team, and our customers safe.

Job Description:

Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks according to company standards
Oversee staff on a daily basis
Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and quality
Respond to customer complaints and special requests
Report and follow up on maintenance issues and damages
Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, linen stock and linen quality stock
Participate in large cleaning projects as required
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Your experience:

Ideally, you'll already have experience of leading teams in a housekeeping environment, preferably in the hotel sector. However, we will consider other candidates with previous housekeeping experience only.
