Housekeeping Assistant - Westbourne Tower Care Home, Bournemouth

About the Role

The Housekeeping Assistant works as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the care home, following standard operating procedures to uphold hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and using appropriate cleaning materials.
• Ensuring rooms and common areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Treating residents with dignity, respect and safeguarding their personal space and belongings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning and laundry in a public or care setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high quality housekeeping services for residents.
• Ability to adapt to a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Requirements

• DBS Disclosure check - costs paid by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
