Housekeeper - Making a Difference, One Room at a Time

Are you a kind and compassionate person with a passion for keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? You will play a vital role in improving the daily lives of others by maintaining a clean and welcoming home for residents, with a caring, person-centered approach.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, sinks, and countertops
• Making beds and changing linens
• Using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and cloths effectively
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with toiletries and fresh towels
• Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas
• Tidying and refreshing residents' rooms
• Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies as required
• Reporting repairs or maintenance issues promptly
• Assisting in laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness throughout the home
• Interacting positively with residents - joining conversations and contributing to their sense of home

Requirements

• Naturally kind, caring, and compassionate
• Highly motivated with great attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Comfortable communicating with residents and colleagues
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred, but not essential
• Willingness to work in both cleaning and laundry areas of the home
• Passionate about making residents feel comfortable, safe, and cared for
