About The Role

We're looking for reliable and conscientious Housekeepers to join our Diagnostic Services team. The Service provides a range of diagnostic tests for patients in the community, including MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray and echocardiograms. This role is essential in ensuring our clinical and non-clinical environments remain clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and colleagues. We are looking for both full time and part time members of the team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. The service is open 7 days / week from 8 am till 7 pm and therefore we have weekday, evening and weekend hours available to fit around you.

What you'll be doing
  • Delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness across clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Cleaning patient areas, staff areas and shared spaces in line with infection control and health & safety standards
  • Using approved cleaning products, equipment and colour coded systems correctly
  • Operating cleaning machinery following appropriate training
  • Completing daily cleaning records and reporting any faults, hazards or incidents promptly
  • Handling waste safely and in accordance with legislation and local procedures
  • Working respectfully around patients and staff, maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times
What we'll look for in you
  • A good standard of spoken and written English
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • An understanding of infection control, COSHH and health & safety practices
  • A strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • A flexible and positive approach, with the ability to support occasional weekend working if required
  • Good communication skills and a team focused attitude
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team
What you can expect in return
