Our Housekeeping Assistant Self Checker role:

At Another Place, The Lake,housekeepingis at the heart of our guest experience and our team ensures that every bedroom, suite, and shared space is immaculately prepared, clean, and inviting, so that our guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

We're looking for a Housekeeping Assistant Self Checker to support our team, takingpride in the details. From perfectly made beds and spotless bathrooms, to ensuring all amenities are in place and linen is beautifully presented.

You'll be essential to the smooth running of the hotel, supporting a polished environment for every guest and will coordinate with colleagues to manage workloads efficiently by following health and safety standards, and contributing to a team culture built on mutual support, respect, and excellence.

As our Housekeeping Assistant Self Checker you'll be:

• Working through your allocated bedrooms and suites in good time.
• Self-checking your own work for cleanliness and accuracy.
• Making sure guests always find clean and inviting accommodation.
• Cleaning our Glasshouse, Sheep Shed, staff room, staff kitchen, offices and back of house areas whenrequired.
• Keeping linen cupboards clean, tidy, and closed when not in use.
• Working together as part of our committed, efficient and dynamic team.
• Following our procedures for signing keys in and out daily.
• Keeping all corridors outside rooms clean and clutter-free.
• Cleaning guest toilets and changing room areas.
• Following all health and safety, manual handling and COSHH procedures.
• Giving new team members a helping hand and supporting their training and development.

The skills you'll be sharing with us:

• A strong guest focus
• Availability for working on weekends
• Experience of housekeeping in a similar role
• Ability to work under your own supervision and initiative, as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role
