• Salary: Up to £55,000 gross per annum Monday to Friday Full-time
• A welcoming professional family based in Cobham, Surrey is seeking an experienced House Manager / Housekeeper to oversee the smooth day to day running of their family home.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized, proactive and self motivated individual who enjoys taking ownership of a household, ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. The role combines hands on housekeeping, household management, cooking and general family support, making it ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a well run, beautifully organized home.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards throughout the property whilst managing the practical day to day requirements of the household.
• This is a role for someone who naturally notices what needs doing, enjoys being one step ahead and is happy to take responsibility for always ensuring the home runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the home to an exceptionally high standard
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Household organisation and general tidying
• Ensuring consistently high standards throughout the property

House Management

• Managing household supplies and stock levels
• Grocery shopping and household provisioning
• Coordinating deliveries, post and household administration
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers and service providers
• Managing household schedules and appointments where required
• Taking ownership of the smooth day to day running of the home
• Identifying tasks that require attention and ensuring they are completed efficiently

Family Cooking & Household Support

• Planning and preparing fresh, healthy family dinners during the week
• Shopping for fresh produce and ingredients
• Maintaining kitchen organisation and food storage
• Caring for the family dog, including daily walks
• Running household errands as required
• Providing general support to ensure family life runs smoothly

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a House Manager, Housekeeper or Housekeeper/Manager within a private household
• Confident family cook with a passion for fresh, healthy food
• Full driving licence and own vehicleHighly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Trustworthy, discreet and professional
• Positive, proactive and able to work independently
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Looking for a long term position within a private family home
• Candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance of Cobham will be particularly well suited to this role.

Package

• Up to £55,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday schedule
• Typically 10:00am - 6:00pm
• Flexibility available for the right candidate
