Who are we?

Celesteis the newest property from the world of Estelle, sister to Maison Estelle in Mayfair and Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire. Ameticulously restoredtownhouse, Celeste is opening invibrant Notting Hill, London. A public Italian-American restaurant is located on the ground floor, complete with alfresco front terrace, elegant wrap around bar counter and a glazed conservatory in the rear. Set on the first floor, our oak-panelled, Tokyo-influenced members' bar evokes Art Deco grandeur, with a sculptural bar stretching beneath soaring windows. Celeste's second floor offers members an open kitchen-style pantry, servingJapanesedishes from the traditional robata, alongside delectable sushi and sashimi. Tucked beneath the eaves, onCeleste's third floor, 'The Apartment' is anideal spot for a private hosted occasion, with rustic beams, reclaimedwooden floors and the spirit of an artist's studio.

As a House Host, you'll make every member feel right at home with genuine smiles, personal touches, and effortless service. You'll be the friendly face who's always ready to help, fix things fast, and turn every visit into a moment worth remembering.

Who we are looking for:

• Creating a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for our members/guests.
• Striving to build genuine relationships with all members.
• Providing genuine, attentive, natural, and friendly service to our members in order to reflect our standards.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions or queries members may have and ensure all follow up is carried out promptly.
• Being always immaculately presented in the correct uniform.
• Ensuring all member information is captured and recorded on their profiles.
• Being aware of all VIP members and their guests visiting us and ensuring their experience is tailored appropriately.
• Anticipating members needs and providing them with a personalised experience.
• Ensuring the reception area is tidy, presentable and fully stocked with all necessary stationery and materials.
• Feeling empowered making a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
• Ensuring any issues that may arise are dealt with immediately and to conclusion, logged accurately and promptly followed up.

Qualifications:

• Previous hostexperience in a busy and high-volume hospitality operation.
• Computer literate (MS Office, SevenRooms, CRM systems)
• Planning ability; able to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail, able to identify mistakes and request clarification.
• Excellent time-management skills; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and members.
• Strong command of English.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

What's in it for you?

The on target earning potential for this role is £ 39,977.60 per annum - comprising a base salary of £27,081.60 (40 hours per week at a hourly rate of £13.02), plus a qualified estimate of £12,896.00 in gratuities and service charge.
