Posted 5 days 13 hours ago by Axiom Hospitality Limited
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Town: Dublin
Personal enough to know your name. Connected enough to open every door.
Axiom Hospitality is one of the UK's fastest-growing hotel management companies, and we're not slowing down. In a few short years we've grown to over 40 hotels, partnering with some of the world's most recognised brands including Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Radisson. Through our partnership with Pyramid Global Hospitality, we're not only connected across the UK, but connected across the globe.
That growth means something real for you. The leaders who join us now help shape where we go next, and we have a strong track record of promoting from within. For the right Hotel Manager, this is a chance to grow with a business that's going places.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're thrilled to be opening two brand-new hotels in Dublin in May 2027, another exciting step in growing our presence in the Republic of Ireland. To lead Residence Inn Dublin (222 rooms), we're now recruiting a Hotel Manager, reporting directly to the Cluster General Manager.
Residence Inn is one of Marriott's most trusted brands, designed for guests on longer stays who want space, comfort and a home-from-home experience. It opens alongside our sister hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Dublin, as part of a two-hotel cluster.
YOUR ROLE
Joining the Axiom team, you'll lead Residence Inn Dublin through pre-opening, one of the most rewarding stages in any hotel's life, and on into successful operation. You'll:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the hotel, with a particular focus on front office, housekeeping and the wider rooms division
- Build and develop your heads of department, and recruit, train and inspire the wider team
- Set the operational standards, systems and culture from day one, ensuring the hotel opens on time, on brand and ready for the first guest
- Deliver an outstanding extended-stay guest experience, building the kind of relationships that bring long-stay guests back time and again
- Drive rooms performance, working with the sales and revenue teams to maximise occupancy, rate and RevPAR
- Manage costs and labour productivity across the rooms division, supporting the Cluster General Manager on P&L performance
- Champion Marriott brand standards, guest satisfaction scores and quality audits
- Oversee the breakfast and guest amenity offer, making sure it's consistently excellent
- Deputise for the Cluster General Manager when required
WHO WE'RE LOOKING TO MEET
We'd love to hear from experienced hotel leaders who bring:
- 3+ years of senior leadership experience within a branded hotel environment, ideally with Marriott brands
- A strong rooms division background, with a proven track record of driving rooms performance
- Experience in an extended-stay or apartment-style hotel would be a real advantage
- Pre-opening experience is highly desirable
- Sound commercial acumen, confident with budgets, cost control, labour planning and revenue drivers
- A track record of delivering excellent guest satisfaction and quality audit results
- A people-first leadership style that gets the best out of teams and builds culture from the top down
- Knowledge of the Dublin or Irish hotel market would be a real advantage
